Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Part of an integrated network of German structures constructed in Jersey during the Second World War. The only known example in the Channel Islands (and possibly in western Europe) of an aircraft hangar, of a design known as a blister hangar, erected by the German Air Force in the 1940s.
