Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Part of an important terrace of fine early C19 double-pile merchants houses, retaining features and fabric of interest; and more widely part of an historically significant set of merchants houses and warehouses located along the quayside, at the foot of Fort Regent.
