50 (Egyptian Lodge)
Val Plaisant, St. Helier · Listed Building Grade 2 · Reference HE1604
Listed status is a real legal constraint
Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Built in 1837. A rare example of a town house with pseudo Egyptian style detailing on a prominent corner site, retaining original detailing and character.
