La Caumine
Avenue du Petit Mont, St. Helier · Listed Building Grade 3 · Reference HE1951
Listed status is a real legal constraint
Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
The only 20th century building in Jersey with a thatched roof, being completed in 1936. The property is a well-preserved example of an Arts and Crafts house, a style that is rare in Jersey.
