Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Statement of significance: An early example of a tidal seawater pool in the British Isles (the majority of surviving examples dating from the 1920s and 1930s in the UK). The bathing pool was the largest in the British Isles at its time of construction.
