London House
Le Chemin des Hougues, St. John · Listed Building Grade 3 · Reference JN0007
Listed status is a real legal constraint
Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
This cottage, with its mid C19 character, retains its proportions and associated farm buildings with the unusual vaulted unit. It has fine stonework, surviving front door, fireplace/bread oven and beams/joists.
