Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Although with alterations, this is a notable house with very early origins circa 1500 or earlier, with unique features including the unusual occurence of two 'benitiers'.
