La Petite Fosse
La Petite Fosse, St. Ouen · Listed Building Grade 2 · Reference OU0139
Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
An early example of a Jersey house, certainly C17 but with evidence that it began as a late medieval open hall house - a rare survival. The early C17 window openings display the type of high quality workmanship more often found in larger high status houses.
