Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
A very good example of a machine gun turret. Part of an integrated network of German defensive structures constructed in Jersey during the Second World War, more widely part of the Atlantic Wall.
