Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
C17 origins, incorporating earlier features. Particularly important elements are the reused features brought from L'Amiral, and the very rare tudor-style limestone fireplace. The traditional well-head to the south is also a significant feature.
