Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
This C18 cottage retains its scale and proportions and along with its outbuildings creates a cohesive group of farm buildings. It contributes to the roadside rural setting and the significance is increased by its relationship with the other two cottages across the road.
