Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
A single storey C18 cottage retaining historic character; of a type now a rare feature in the Jersey countryside. Although this cottage has C20 development to its rear its main form has not been compromised and it remains of value to the roadside junction setting.
