Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Good example of mid 19th century school with integral schoolmaster's house. The later extensions do not damage the original composition, but are not part of the listing. Many original external stonework features survive.
