Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Good example of late C19 exuberantly ornamented seaside architecture, terminating a terrace on Beach Road. Rarely found complete survival of original external features. Of particular note are the ornate gable treatment, decorated tiles and shutters.
