Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
This typical late C19 house retains some historic features and contributes to the rural setting as part of a complex of clustered buildings on the road. The haphazard extensions to the north compromise the architectural value and are excluded from the listing.
