Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
This early-mid C19 house contributes to its setting in the valley. It retains its exterior character with historic materials and some original features retained. The rear extension and outbuilding are of no significance.
