Under the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, alterations, extensions and demolition of a listed building or place typically need Listed Building Consent, on top of ordinary planning permission.
Fine example of late Victorian exuberantly ornamented seaside architecture, terminating a terrace. Rarely found apparently complete survival of diverse original external features. Of particular note are the ornate dormer and doorway treatment, timber windows and shutters within recesses.
